Collective labor relations

Collective labor relations lie at the heart of corporate strategy. Recent laws have increased the capacity for “labor engineering” to change the dynamics in labor relations by the inclusion of new negotiating players

Collective relations

Keeping pace and setting the tempo

Keeping up with the pace set by the labor relations annual planning and implementing the company’s HR roadmap are two key aspects of HR. META-LEGAL specializes in helping clients reconcile these two aspects, based on a committed and long-term partnership focusing on HR strategy and consulting.

Depending on our clients’ goals and the level of dialog between the social partners within the company, we propose occasional or periodic contingency plans to anticipate labor-related topics, and to prepare and advise clients on their various collective bargaining issues.

Collective labor relations

Accompanying the negotiation of corporate standards

META-LEGAL plays a key role in providing assistance with the negotiation of collective corporate standards.

This concerns mandatory issues subject to negotiation, such as pay, working hours, and professional equality, but our work also covers specific themes such as the implementation of remote working, professional mobility, and preventing economic difficulties (preparation and negotiation of job protection schemes, collective performance agreements, etc.).

Lastly, we frequently intervene on cross-cutting subjects relating to the harmonization of employees’ collective status following legal transactions.

Helping to resolve crises

When collective labor relations take a downturn (strikes, alerts, expert assessments, appeals, summary suspensions, directors’ liability, etc.), META-LEGAL has the necessary experience to support its clients, help them deal with the emergency, and seek solutions to resolve the crisis.

In these contexts, we always seek to find a balance between the parties, as this is often the most sustainable solution. That said, there are some situations in which compromise is impossible, and in these situations we also support clients methodically to take legal action.
